Brazilian Football Match Abandoned: Nine Players Sent Off In A Mass Brawl

There was a drama in a Brazilian derby that birth series of punches and blows between Vitoria and Bahia as 9 players – six from the Victoria – were sent off, forcing the derby to be abandoned with 11 minutes left on the clock.

With just 13 minutes left a fourth Vitoria player was sent off, inciting Bispo to kick the ball away and forced the official into granting him his second yellow and a match-ending red.
